How to become a Somaiya student

Seats: 240 (40 in each medium)

Eligibility

  • H.S.C. or any equivalent 10+2 examination and YCMOU 1st year Passed with 50%
  • Minimum Marks : 49.5% for General Category and 44.5% for SC and ST and OBC Category

Admission Process

  • Admission to D.EL.Ed program in various colleges of Maharashtra is done through MSCERT, Pune.
  • A merit list will be released after the application forms are filled by the candidates.
  • Admission will be done on the basis of marks scored in the qualifying exam.
  • No entrance exam is conducted for admission.
  • The merit list will be available on the official website.
  • On the basis of the merit list the candidates will be called for the counselling process.

  • There is no age limit to appear for Maharashtra D.EL.Ed. Course
  • The medium in which student want to seek admission, should have passed first language of SSC exam.
